2D Echo
A 2D echocardiogram is a diagnostic test that provides excellent and clear images of the heart, the para cardiac structures and the vessels in the heart. It is a non-invasive technique that uses sonar waves to pass through the skin, reach the internal organs, and form clear images.
The purpose of Billroth Hospital’s 2D echocardiogram is to evaluate the size and functioning of the heart and the valves. A 2-D echocardiogram view looks cone-shaped on the screen, and the real-time motion of the heart’s structures can be seen.
